Jennings Senior Apartments
Successful aging means affordable housing with supportive services. Jennings is a model for successful aging, offering plentiful options to enable each individual’s short-term and long-term goals in wellness, lifelong learning, nutrition and social activities while living in an affordable, manageable home. Our senior apartments provide a social and supportive environment, with a true sense of community that unites apartment tenants. Everywhere you look there is evidence that our apartments are not just buildings, but a warm and welcoming community.
The Jennings campus is home to three apartment buildings to accommodate the financial and support levels of each individual:
- St. Rita Apartments, opened in January 2010. This new three-level building includes 63 units in one and two bedroom floor plans. Apartments are available for those with restricted to moderate incomes.
- St. Agnes Terrace Apartments opened in May 2003. The three-level building includes 42 units in two and three bedroom floor plans. Apartments are available at both market rates and for those with restricted incomes.
- Jennings Manor Senior Apartments opened its doors in August 1998. With an initial construction grant and ongoing rent subsidy from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Jennings Manor hosts 61 one-bedroom apartments in a four-floor complex.
All residents of our community are welcome to participate in the amenities of the campus, including life-enriching activities, volunteer opportunities, and more. Supporting individuals where they live, Jennings Center for Older Adults offers Campus Services to help apartment tenants maintain an independent lifestyle. Tenants can select services, for a nominal fee, that best meet individual needs — such as home-delivered meals, housekeeping services, and laundry.
