It was a picture perfect day to officially open Jennings at Brecksville with a dedication ceremony. The Most Reverend Bishop Roger Gries, OSB, celebrated with an intimate gathering by blessing our new residence.

In his opening prayer, Bishop Gries prayed: “When Christ took flesh through the Blessed Virgin Mary, he made his home with us. Let us now pray that he will enter this home and bless it with his presence. May he always dwell here among you. May he nurture your love for each other, share in your joys, and comfort you in your sorrows. Inspired by his teachings and example, seek to make this new home before all else, a dwelling place of love, diffusing far and wide the goodness of Christ.”

Following the blessing, guests gathered in fellowship, explored with tours, and enjoyed a delicious assortment prepared by our culinary services staff.

Thank you to everyone who worked with The Krill Co., Inc. and RDL Architects to bring this residence to fruition. We are thankful for our collaborative partners and funders who helped make Jennings at Brecksville possible: St Basil the Great Catholic Church, The City of Brecksville Ohio, KeyBank, Lake James, Ltd., Lancaster Pollard and Port of Cleveland. Please visit during one of our open house events to tour this beautiful new residence!
