Community

“A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter, he who finds one finds a treasure.”
Sirach 6:14

Being a small Community enables us to enjoy a close-knit family life-style.  Meals and recreation in common allow the Sisters time to share the joys and sorrows of the day and to enjoy their friendship fostered by our common goals.

Our Sisters wear a uniform modified habit with a scapular and veil.  Our medal of the Holy Spirit is both a sign of our Community membership and a reminder of the source of our vocation.

Visiting at the convent, home visits, and annual vacation time provide the necessary opportunity to keep in touch with friends and family who help nurture and strengthen our own religious commitment.

The Motherhouse is located in Garfield Heights, a suburb of Cleveland.  Its spacious and attractive grounds provide a reflective setting for our common life, while its proximity to the city keeps us in touch with the needs of God’s people.
